No. Some firewalls can't resolve names; the ones that can, do it in different formats. Therefore fwanalog has to get IP addresses and numeric port numbers.

Sorry, I have only OpenBSD and GNU/Linux systems within reach.

I found this in the mailing list archive: http://tud.at/mailinglist-archives/fwanalog/0030.html (The user called ipmon with the "-n" switch on NetBSD and that caused name resolution.)
